Dredgers

The Company has been operating for many years in the construction of complete plants for the extraction and washing of aggregates. It also provides eco-friendly pump dredgers capable of reaching depths of up to 60 metres, designed not to interfere with the surrounding ecosystem and built according to the specific operational requirements of ports, canals, rivers, quarries, or mines.

A key element is the disaggregation system used to facilitate the suction of solids by the pump: water jets, cutter heads, or bucket systems.

The first type uses water pressure to move the material, while the second and third types act physically on the sediments without polluting the surrounding environment and while reducing the clouding of the water surface.

Where a dredger can operate:

– In rivers, canals, and ports to open navigable waterways by lowering the seabed or riverbed;

– For the cleaning of rivers, ports, or canals;

– At sea along coastlines for the nourishment of beaches eroded by tidal movement;

– To extract aggregates for construction, industrial, and environmental use;

– In ponds, to oxygenate the water by removing the muddy or clayey layer for fish conservation;

– For pipeline crossing operations.
